Hi,
is it possible to use another Audio Interface between the Ren itself?
I doubt it, but it would be nice to be able to track some more channels out to a mixer :)

Yes. And you can assign track outputs to your interfaces extra outputs.

Yes. But you cannot assign track outputs to your interfaces extra outputs.

I see, I have just tried it in the demo software, you can just select one audio interface.

Yeah, you can only use one at a time, but you can use anyone you want. Also, I mis typed my comment above. You CAN use all outputs of your interface, up to 16 of them!

At the same time?

I use the Ren and a Focusrite Saffire, too, but linking the outputs would be a great feature. In my experience, no DAW really supports multiple interfaces at the same time, EXCEPT two different ones for input and output each.

What is the point of using two, can't you just bounce the stems? I have yet to use that function (noob) but I plan on using the Ren with Ableton, is it easier to use a multichannel (additional) interface?

You could route multiple tracks to a hardware mixer at the same time.
