I HEARD SOMEWHERE THAT YOU CAN MAKE YOUR DRUMS SOUND EXTRA HARD AND REAL DYNAMIC IF YOU BOUNCE YOUR SAMPLES BETWEEN THE MPC AND 808 - IS THIS USING SPECIFIC EFFECTS? HAS ANYONE ELSE HEARD ABOUT THIS AND IF SO CAN THEY GIVE ME SOME TIPS PLEASE? THANKS.

well - i was actually doing some forward research cos i havent actually got my mpc yet. thanks for the constructive comment though

i doubt thats true...perahps harder if the a/b converters impart a certain eq slope to the sample causing peaks at certain freqs but cant see it having any effect on the sounds dynamic as both use midi to control the dynamic properties and both resolutions are 1-127...
