I see that I can adjust the volume of each track in the Track mix via Q-Link. I would like to record the automation fading in all tracks at once via a master track fader or Level knob in one of my sequences. The level knob located on the MPC software didn't record the automation data. Does anyone know of a work around?

Thanks!

The only work around that I can think of is to use the Ren in plugin mode and use you DAW's master track to automate the volume.

ya no midi input available on master. id ove to do master efx changes in the ren. then i prob wouldnt need to bounce stems unless i really wanted to mix album. but id love to settle with ruff mixes just left in ren. and bounced in mix mode for sharing tracks amongst peers

@Em.p.cee.j yeah that would be ill. With all these q-link knobs I hope that Akai will add a Learn midi feature or option. Where you can right click on the knob via the software and turn the hardware q-link knob and your midi info data is passed on via the q-link.

I know that the q-links are already capable of controlling the volumes of the tracks in the track mix window so if there was a master fader in this window I could get the job done.

@pk1 thanks the MPC watch (BPM watch) was designed by Flud watches. It's no longer on their website with the net though I see other vendors selling it.
