Ren factory sounds?

Can I download the factory drumsounds from someware? I lost the cd and installed os from internets...

I think you should call akai and ask for replacement!
Right now there's no other way...until some crackers put it on torrents as happened with maschine!

Aint these sounds nothing more than the legacy MPC sounds. The value of the disk went in with the VSTs that were given with the system.

Apart from the Legacy kits there are a couple of folders of drums KITS and GROUPS + a LOOP folder where there are some loops in WAV and REX

Cool. I never use those kits anyways. Never noticed besides the VSTs.

umm anything. There's plenty of sounds for sale on the internet alone, also free kits but I dont know much about buying sound packs. You definitely want some decent 808 kits and Hip Hop drums. I either sample drum breaks, or just use drums from gear i've had.

That's my favourite kit from the Ren included sound packs. I was going to maybe use that string progression my self but I can see now its going to get a lot of use so nah...

Soundpack
I dont like pretty much anything in the included Akai plugins. The 809, the Bub, the Wub, the Thing or whatever their called.

The regular programmes definitely have some very good ones in there if you look around a bit. In saying that - all over the sounds is 8ohhhh8 kiks, snares and hats. I mean how many times do we need to hear that fking drum machine!
