MPC 2500 replacement screens

I just wanted to know if the MPC 1000 and MPC 2500 share the same screen component?. I have a MPC 2500 with a busted screen and a spare 1000, can I swop the screens?.

I thought the 2500 screens were wider and longer? I could be wrong though

Screens are the same but the ribbon cable is longer for the 2500 since it need slack to swivel...in other words you'd have to fabricate extension to make it work
