Joke all you want, but don't tell me you're throwing a party when you're working on something, and it crashes on you.

Yeah autosave is a simple feature that ought to be separated from other things that may have "auto" in the name. Nothing wrong with some fail safe measures.

I guess only REAL producers save their own files...

In all seriousness I've always liked what Ableton does if it crashes. Even with no auto save or manual save, it knows it crashes (it should I've crashed live over 3000 times). So upon re-launch it prompts you like "Yo I totally hosed you last time, shall I rebuild your session off the snapshot I took...?"
It works well but you question how they pull that off and for 5 years couldn't just get rid of the crashes in the first place.

Autosave would be nice cause since 1.3 sometimes when you save it crashes

So do you think the autosave may crash sometimes too?
Nah for real tho. It would be a dope feature to add because their are times when I'm just testing out different things or try to use a different plugin and it'll crash on me.

I honestly don't see any reason to be against an autosave feature.

For most people autosave would be over the top. In the past I have learned to handle crashing software quite well by saving OFTEN.
Autosave is great. But I still save my projects all the time since sometimes you can't rely on autosave. It CAN save you a lot of time when the software crashes, but it'll annoy you sooner or later by autosaving at the most inconvenient moments.
