I Jailbroke my Ipad with Absinthe. It was basically a one button click, 5 or 10 minute process. It is also legal and as Metatron stated makes file management so much easier and effective. For example, apps. that don't have Dropbox capability now do. You can easily navigate into individual app. data folders and move samples and other data files between various apps. and Dropbox using iFile. I was even able to access files on my MPC 500 directly from my Ipad.

That last sentence is the sickest thing man.

It depends on how much power the USB stick requires. Some require to much and would have to be plugged into a powered USB hub. There are threads on the Appl forums listing some of the ones that work. You could also use the sd card adapter that comes with the camera connection kit to pull samples from an sd card via iFile.

One adapter is for SD cards and the other provides a standard USB port. Then class compliant USB devices (driver less ones) will work over the port. But like coolderb said power is limited over the USB port so you often need a powered USB hub to use some audio interfaces, MIDI controllers and in the case of Jailbreak/iFile, removable storage devices like HD's and memory sticks.

I've tried MPD's, Korg nanoPAD's and some other stuff with great results. (MIDI control was my main reason for the Apple CCK)

I admit the only decent thing which I like on the mpc which I wish was implemented in bm2 is the turntable feature.

I like I could sample part of songs instead of having to import them all the time.

I agree. I also wish they would expand their midi learn capabilities to include pads and note repeat.

You have to delete unwanted samples by connecting our ipad to our computer and deleting the sample from the iTunes file sharing. Unfortunately that's the only way.

Yeah that was one of my bigger complaints. I have to go in and write down whatever samples i didn't use and then connect to iTunes and then go to iTunes file sharing for iMPC and delete from there. And then on top of that there's no real file management whatsoever so it is just one massive continuous list of samples put together alphabetically. Annoying.
