does the blue 4000 turn lavender if exposed to sunlight

or should I not worry about having it in the sunshine spot in the studio.

I gets around an hour of sun everyday this time of year, so I guess it get some uv damage if I not cover it or move it

I hear the white ones turn yellowish.

Lather it down with sunblock and all will be ok.

The yellowing is caused by the bromine in the plastic when it gets exposed to UV light. The bromine is added to the plastic as a flame-retardant. You can restore the color back by using a product called Retrobright. There are recipes posted online how to make the solution if you are unable to find Retrobright.
