I believe it would be the best move they could make at this point, having the system to be a secure one is critical for producers. Let's keep this topic going, we need to campaign for this so they know the importance from users.

I hear you, but we are suggesting something that would not be dealing with it's current state. Hopefully the team can find a way to implement this without interrupting the workflow.

Let me clarify what I am suggesting, In Ableton Live 8 & 9 all of the users previous moves are saved in the background continuously, this is why this request also impacts the unlimited undo/redo function. When live closes out abruptly it will on restart ask if you want to open the previous session (the unsaved by the user but saved in the background session).

I've been getting crashes upon saving again...the last three sessions, it's always crashed when I save.
Nothing, nothing puts me off more than shit like this.
You work on something for an hour, then you lose it. That IS bad and makes me think I should be working with an older MPC of mine instead.
