my MPC1k arrived yesterday. can't wait 'til i'm flyin on the interface. i'm already getting the hang of things. seems pretty straight forward.

MAIN TOOLS-composition rig:
• E-MU XL-7 Command Station
• MPC-1000
• Roland SH-32
• KORG Poly61 (ole skool analog synth)
• Roland CDX-1 (Digital multitracker/sampler/CD Burner)
• G3 iMac

Im pimpin that mpc2000, Yamaha PSR-290, No special expensive Gear and I'm already crankin out top notch downsouth and up north beats thnx to mpc-turor :wink:

mpc 1k is not MAINly for hip hop

You COULD use it for hip hop if thats what you want to do

it may be mainly for hip hop for you

but is not MAINly for hip hop -
