whenever i play chopd up samples on the pads like say for example i hav 3 chops on 3 seperate pads i hav them on mono so they cut eachother off.. But when i go to lay down a kick drum on another pad it cuts them off aswell problem is when i go into prog edit and select the pad to current and change the kick to poly it changes everything to poly and everything plays over the top of each other. is it a problem with my ren or am i doing something wrong? it is stressing me out..

couple different ways of doing it

go to program edit.. hit F1 for master tab, change from mono to poly with q13

then hit F5 for LFO mod and set your 3 chops to the same mute group (with q13 again)

or make a new pgm on a new track for your drums

still wont work for me bud it wont let me choose seperate pads for mono or poly for some reason everything they are all connected together, it was working for me til about a week ago it started playin up..

for drums now i havto use the plug in..

hate the fact that when you (me for example) spend alot of money on something and put alot of time and base ur life around making music i run into erros like this i thought id have no problems with the ren but its starting to really fry itself it wont even let me update v1.3.1 no matter how many times i downlad it and try to install it just stays at 1.3 lol, it not even funny like i just hope 1.4 or whatever the next update may be comes out soon and updates successfully

Take care not miing up MONO & POLY MODE in MASTER & LFO MOD sections. While it switches the whole program when the MASTER tab (F1, Q13) is selected in PROG EDIT, while it'll change for pad play under LFO MOD (F5, Q16).

Assigning different pads to the same mute group (LFO MOD F5, Q13) has them mute each other, the pad played last is priorized.
