How to delete a sample from a pad

How do you delete a sample from a pad only in the MPC REN? Example: I have a sample on A1 and want to move that sample to B1 and delete the sample from A1. How is that done.

Pad assign.

Tap on the pad you want to edit go to program mode down in where you layer your sounds hit the drop down menu tab on the very first layer and click none and there will be no sound on that pad and you can do what you want with it.
