In order to make this claim, you would have to actually acquire a Ren to see for yourself. Otherwise you are repeating something another non-user wrote or making stuff up out of boredom with your current MPC.

Get a Ren to beat those MPC-blues and join in the MPC Ren/Studio social network.

how can the 3000 vintage mode be created using classic 3000 circuitry when vintage mode works perfectly fine using an external audio card?

im not hatin on the ren, just sayin, i dont UNDERSTAND how (as the box says) classic 3k circuitry effects the vintage mode when it sounds the exact same outta my tascam audio interface as it does comin outta the rens out..

it sounds GOOD, im not sayin it sounds bad... but yea... :hmmm: :hmmm:

the mpc studio should DEFINITELY have vintage mode.. its clearly software related, not hardware.

I'm coming from the same base as es-k. It's useful I'm sure and a welcome feature. But clearly was misrepresented.

Like the owners, even observers would like to know what is truly what with a product.

This hasn't been my experience. I can hear the vintage modes just fine with only my other interface set as the input and output or do you mean something else?

He doesn't actually own/use a Ren which is why he doesn't know this.

this nicca dont know me in real life n he talkn like he my next door neighboor... :Sigh:

he got two rens n never posted single beat :WTF:

The usual suspects are at it again......

If you want to observe....observe. But to continue to make unfound claims make you look silly.

Have you actually compared the MPC 3000 Vintage Mode using the Ren's hardware outs and a 3rd party interface? Have you compared these against an MPC 3000? Have you looked at the schematics of the MPC 3000 and the Ren? Everyone knows the answer is 'No' to all three questions. So the fact remains.....you (plural) have no idea what you are talking about.

WOW!!!

you're missing the point!!

even if the mpc3000 mode specifically might sound a little better through the outs (i dont notice any difference.. but if you insist...) THE OTHER 3 VINTAGE MODES DEFINITELY CHANGE THE WAY THE REN SOUNDS REGARDLESS OF AUDIO INTERFACE

that is the point im trying to make

why doesnt the studio allow these??

:WTF: :WTF: :Sigh: :Sigh: :Sigh:

and man i dont even have a studio im just trying to make a point.. and you get so stubborn sometimes that i have to get involved.. i always end up feeling dumb for it though, such a waste of time.

edit : an idea .. lets say you are right, which im totally willing to believe.. then make the 3000 mode special to the ren.. but allow software emulation on the other?? just an idea akai.. once again, only something that would have a positive effect on sales

I am clearly discussing the 'speculation' in this forum. Note I didn't argue either way as I have not spent any time comparing the Ren's Vintage Mode with the MPC 3000. I have not done any investigation into whether the Ren's output character is the same as a 3rd party interface while using Vintage Mode. I have opened up the MPC 3000 and the Ren and compare the schematics of the analog in/outs. What I am saying.....if you haven't done this, you are speculating. The fact that I am simply pointing out that individuals have no idea what they are talking about is not being stubborn. This discussion is in multiple threads...at least one being locked. And there is nothing new on this subject.

Now this thread has been completely derailed. Vintage Mode and increasing sales have nothing to do with this topic.

You drink the Kool Aid or he comes with (feeble) attacks, nothing new here. This is guy who thinks because he can piss off 1000's people across the web for over a decade with his narrow mindedness he's somehow validated and must be in the right. When the only common factor is of course, him and his paranoid attitudes, fanboyism or die...

The fact that the mode uses the old circuitry IS the unfounded claim.

And yeah you did spend time comparing them. With a mastered Dre CD made on a 3000 as a "test". :Sigh:

Re-ead what you wrote. You are among the 2-3 individuals making feeble attacks. This is what you do when you can't convince someone to think they way you think. On this subject, you continue to sound silly. Provide some concrete evidence to make your case. You don't know a thing about the MPC 3000 or the Ren's 'circuitry' no matter how many times you write it. Stop the madness..stop the lying.

And you are incorrect. I didn't spend any time comparing them. I made several recordings and asked forum members to decide for themselves.

Nothing feeble here but your childish, projecting paranoid personality.

You say you don't care to test it. You provide no proof the circuit claim is real other than "they said so"

So you provide some concrete evidence. That's the point you're missing and what es-k's post is about.

And you should use quote marks about the re-made "3000 circuitry" as that 's the whole point here. It has not been demonstrated to be real.

Again I don't have 100's perhaps in the 1000's of people who think I'm an idiot, whereas you have made a 10 year vocation of trolling every music website in the world.

Is it not obvious to you you're the one talking about the emulation being indiscernible, you're the one with the Ren and 3000 and you're asking me to prove that Akai's claims are real or not. Your only proof again, "because they said so", and two flawed "tests" that are one of the biggest jokes the forum saw all last year.

"And you are incorrect. I didn't spend any time comparing them. I made several recordings and asked forum members to decide for themselves."

That statement is apropos of what? If you didn't spend anytime comparing them, then why the hell did you post this week it's a 1:1 emulation as far as your concerned?

It's crazy, Your whole beef with me started summer prior to the Ren's release when I said, "an audio/MIDI driver to go ultra low latency will take some good coding". You began being contentious with me from that moment. I never said they couldn't just that it was going to take quality coding. This is how little it takes to become an "enemy" of the self proclaimed "MPC Champion"...

I went on to say that I bet they don't custom write an audio/MIDI driver and just adapt a Ploytec one. And what do you know that's what they did. And that's how I ended up in this now pointless thread, as no one really got much help other than a few where trying aggregate devices where they couldn't on OS X. You didn't say a word on the numerous Windows guys with the issue, where it's not two devices.

So I stopped by to point out the obvious 9 out of 10 times y'all are looking at a driver issue. I don't need a Ren to see that from the details these users gave.

The only person ever in these threads trying to convince people to think how they think is you.

So no I'm not providing anything. If the case is closed to you then you present evidence as to how Akai's circuitry claims are true.

Feeble attacks? Knucka please. Did it ever occur to you that some people might want to know if a company's claim could be validated on a $1300 item?

I'm not the two time defending Cornball Of The Year at this forum. Whereas you are. But as I said you take it as some form of validation which is not altogether sane.

So what if the thread's derailed es-k? any possible help or clues for this issue on both OS's are 30 posts ago. People project their corny steez on me and don't realize they're the one acting odd, I'm gonna tell them that straight up.

But your proof is "because you or and some forum members said so"? You don't know how ridiculous you sound. And it isn't a big deal. But when you have some kids regurgitating your uneducated hypothesis, it does become a bigger deal...at least as far as this forum is concerned.

When you (or anyone else) make wild accusations, the burden of proof is on you.

So you can either provide some real proof or continue to discuss matters you have very little to no knowledge of.....

Let's just cut to the chase here. If I ask the question I don't need to prove a damn a thing. The person saying it's the unequivocal truth does, in this case you. Akai really, and on some insane fanboy shit carried to the millionth power you get defensive and attack others for simply raising valid questions. Questions aren't attacks. Overly defensive desperate reactions do however end up in that zone often. As you are almost daily proof of.

Let's further call it what it is. You post in double speak, erroneously think you are clever by trolling and trying to hide it under "I'm Mr. MPC positivity fruitcake shit". You act as if every thing you say has to "protect" the product from even being fairly scrutinized.

If other users want a change or feature you agree with you're normal and civil. If you don't agree you go off on tirades and blame the other people. And in the case of certain features that only expose their issues when really getting dirty making full productions, it might take a guy like Hellfire or es-k 2 full pages to get the point across to you. That alone speaks volumes.

Why do you act like an Akai employee who for the sake of his own livelihood has to tow a company line and deflect talk of certain issues when you admittedly are not that?

You go off on this shit because you're obviously paranoid and want people who read about the Ren to be as fanatical as you are.

I only reply to these stupid posts of yours so those people who just dropped in will know who are, what your MO is and that they better pack a 1lb bag of salt if you decide to throw a tantrum or just decide to attack people and then claim you're under assault.

Truth of the matter is I wish all the Ren/Studio owners stability, features and happy beatmaking. You won't find one post of me telling anyone not to buy or Ren or any of the obvious troll posting. I'm not against whatever Akai is selling, I'm against your shitty and contentious for no reason personality.

I did already. Pointing out individuals make claims without any facts is not attacking. Your 'questions' are not questions at all. You (and some others) make some assertions that I quickly pointed out. Now you are pissed. I am not deflecting any talk or issues. I am clearly saying provide some proof on the subject that derailed the thread.

As far as your other silly comments....if I like a feature, I will say I like it. If I don't like it, I will give my reasons for not liking it. If you don't like the Ren, then don't buy it..nobody cares. It is hilarious to read non-Ren users here commenting on topics they are clueless about, get upset when they are called out, and have the nerve to call actual Ren user a troll. Get a life dude.
