Hello people,
I have recently acquired an MPC 1000 and have installed the XLCD to it along with some nice new pads.
Wanting to dive completely into the MPC 1000 I also got the 'Beat Making on the MPC 1000' book as I want to become familiar with all the basics (at least) before coming on this site and asking stupid newbie questions.
However I have come across a problem and I need the advice/help from some of the more experianced heads off this site.
I have started to record basic sequences and am using the note repeat function.
When I set the T.C to 1/8 it works fine no problem.
Any other type of T.C I try to record with I come across a problem. It will only record the first note, absolutely nothing else.
I have tried this with different samples loaded onto different pads the same problem occurs it is f*cking frustrating!
I first came across this problem following the tutorials from the book (tutorial 15) and have gone over it again and again but still get the same problem.
I then looked through this site and it seems this fella has had the same problem. I have PM'd him hopefully he has found a solution.

Please please please help me with this one I am certain its not me being a noob and a genuine problem.
I am using jjos128 version 1.04
Many thanks
