You don't export with these samplers.. you play the result of the song you made... and you record the audio outputs into a daw or what ever you have to record audio.
You don't mix with the eb16 fx card... you can apply some effects to your samples with a send feature of the internal mixer... which both the 3000 and 2000xl has.. except the 3000 does not have an eb16 build in fx card. The fx card gives you 2 multi fx that have filter, delay, overdrive, reverb, mod, etc... and 2 reverb only. You can only run each sample through one (ie: in the mixer, you pick one of those 4 and increase the send amount) it isn't very advanced, and the fx aren't the greatest... but it's another element that adds an angle of attack in the 2000/2000xl when working on a beat.
I don't know if the 2000xl can maybe read the s900/s950 floppy disks... but you wouldn't want to do that anyways most likely, because you want your s900/s950 sounds playing from the actual s900/s950 when recording the beat.
