i don't think it will make the sample louder by resampling....the purpose of the "re-sample" is to change the bit and the freq.....i would not recom. using your 2kxl for resampling.......buy mpc editor @ www.midicase.com

"buy mpc editor "

Well, thanks for the props, but the MPC Editor only converts 16 to 12 bit at this time. I am working on the ability to reduce the sample rate also, but this seemingly inconspicuous routine is actually pretty complex.

how does that mpc editor work is it for your mpc or you use it with your computer, what type of things can you do with it, how much isit.....

proper resampling facility would be a huge addition to the 2kxl's armoury, what it has got does not deserve the name (if only we could have some of the more useful features of the ASRX onboard....oh well...)

it is for arranging files and setting up programs for your MPC via computer.....IT DOES NOT TURN YOUR COMPUTER INTO A MPC......it only helps create groundwork for your computer..... try it free for 30 days if you like it please buy it...... again @ http://www.midicase.com/editor_info.htm all of the info you need will be here

if you have a zip drive for your computer you are better off.........a program is the arranging of samples and setting thru-out the 4 banks a-d so with mpc editor you can set that up b4 you bring it to your mpc.....ideal for grabbing wav files from the computer....but it can also set up your snd files and preview them ......good luck
