Hey I do this so I thought it best to share it.

If you got a program that you want to resample say through external FX then this might save you a bit of time.

OK so make your program.
Got ya kit sorted and now say you want to make a copy of this program but through the FX or external FX processor.
It takes time to do this one sample at a time and is annoying so these steps should help you get around this.

this uses NDC and patterns and the smart ones will instantly know where i am going with this :hmmm:

OK make a pattern that is pad 1 to 16, say over 2 bars or whatever, depending on FX, big verbs, plates might be better over 4 bars for tails.

Save this pattern to as it can be recalled to do again at any time needed.

Assign the pattern to a pad and the program you want to resample.

go to a blank track (solo it to if you need to) and put in the pattern at the start. Now go to song mode and make a TAKE.

Go to trim and use NDC or chop and then make new program from your new take. Hey presto you just got a new program that is a copy of the first one but with FX.

this is with JJOSXL.

OK if your pattern is pad, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ect to 16 then your chop and auto assignment to pads will be the same.

Happy choppin
