when using the qlinks to adjust parameters of effects (im talkin the akai fx that the mpc comes with) there are bugs when it comes to reaching extreme values.. for example sometimes i cant get a value to get all the way to 100.. it stops at 92.. then if i scroll back down to 0 and back up i might get to 96 but still not 100

anyone else experience this?

PC Win 7 sp1 64 bit
3.4h 16g ram
Cubase 7.0.2 with Steinberg MR816x soundcard.

Running in VST mode in Cubase, MPC ren slides out of sync slowly with Cubase after about 8 bars of playing along. Sync, in general, seems fluky (using either the computer or mpc as a transport is irrelevant). Maybe I have missed something in the manual, but it seems like this should be an easy fix. Lot's of crashes in my VST bridge (64 bit, please!), too.
Using Cubase with MPC in a live situation is critical for me, so I hope this is addressed.

Are you using 1.3 or 1.3.1? Can you post a video example of this bug?

Both but mainly the Sync issue. Sync is a major function in MPCs IMO.

So if I'm in Bank C and I select an effect the mixer then jumps back to A.

I have the mpc 5000 and mpc Ren,I'm trying to sync the mpc Ren and it not working. I try sync the mpc Ren to my fantom g6 and it not working. I'm using 1.3.1.

With my mpc 5000 I can sync my fantom g6 as the master and the 5000 as a slave works fine. I try it with the MPC Ren can't do it. I try it the other way around G6 as the slave and MPC as the master it not working.
Major issue.

I have a great suggestions. How about have the Renaissance be able to do everything that the MPC 2500 can do. How is it possible that the latest and greatest MPC can't do everything that the older MPCs can do. That's just mind boggling and bass ackwards. Totally inexcusable for them to get on camera and say they didn't think that people would want step edit, so they left it out. A feature they've been putting in all MPCs for the last 15 years or so and they just decided "Well, I think the people don't want that anymore. Step edit is the main reason I bought the Renaissance. It's the main reason why a lot of DAW based producers smashed their NI Maschines, because it lacked that midi editing capability that we needed. Then we read the old MPC manuals, and we were like "Step edit!!! Finally we have a product that is truly the best of both worlds as far as a drum machine with DAW midi editing capabilities while being powered by a personal computer. I might as well own an MPC 2500, 5000, or 1000. Even the MPC 2000 and 3000 has step edit.
