so im not exactly sure on what its missing or where it lacks in getting the job done.
but it felt solid, and the software did seem pretty straight forward.
i felt at home..
it's just the bugs and workflow that scare me off...

Check out the videos made by actual Ren users......

good call..

i would be doing minor vst use i guess, then exporting to PT to beef up and even out etc. beside the odd vst synth in the workflow.. rewiring to logic would be nice!

but it would be ideal to it all in one environment, but i would look at it like i would normally make beats i guess..

Rewire is Propellerhead technology. Can you Rewire another DAW/workstation into another DAW?

No I don't. Why would Akai implement Rewire to Logic? I could see Rewire from Reason to the Ren.

What would be the point in having the Ren Rewire into Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, etc when it is a RTAS, AU, and VST plugin? And depending on which DAW you use, these plugins transmit MIDI to said DAWs.

Can FL Studio, Reaper, Live, be used as a RTAS, AU, and VST plugin inside of Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, etc?

I think you answered yourself in the las couple of post.
Rewire is developed by PH (I would say Best audio developers out there, just an opinion).
VSTs are not as good as Rewire from my point of view!

That sounds weird since VST has been a standard for quite some time. How is Rewire better? What advantages does it have over VST? Note that I have never used Rewire functionality. But I do used VST and never found it lacking.
