Mpc 2000 xl rescue rom...

Hello..!
I must be in need of the rescue rom for the mpc2000xl...
I have one which lost its os and now asks for the mpc2000xl disk forever..
I have tried loading the os from floppy,zip and cf and it still doesn't want to boot , just refreshes the message on the screen...
Does anybody have the .bin file or can make a dump of the rescue rom?
If yes how much will that cost?
I ask for the file because i am really in need for a fast solution as its the only mpc i have right now and i use it in my job almost everyday so i must fix it as soon as possible and waiting for a rom to arrive can take way longer than writting the file onto a blank rom...

I have the 1.72 OS on a floppy, so if I put it into my Usb Floppy Drive, get it on my PC, and sent you the file, would it work?

EDIT: I have an MPC 2000. Will my OS work for your XL?

Thanks for the offer but i need something more specific (its a special chip (rom) which has a rescue program inside so you can reflash (reinstall) the bootloader and firmware an the mpc2000xl (smd) flash rom...!
Also the mpc2000 os is not compatible with the 2kxl..!

you can re-write your flash once the machine is on by hitting 'load' on an os file.

Screen writing: "MPC2000XL"
and then "Insert MPC2000XL Disk !"
Does anybody have the recovery eprom or any other idea whats going on?!

And you're sure you don't need an OS disk? My MPC says that every time I turn it on & all you have to do is put the OS disk in it.

You have mpc 2000. He has mpc2000XL.
Similar but actually totally different OS and machine.

Mpc2000XL normally needs no floppy (or other media) to boot up, unlike mpc2000.
He has a corrupted boot rom which is why it's asking for the disk.

I appreciate you are trying to help but, he needs someone with a little knowledge of the machine to assist.

Thanks everybody for trying to help me..!
I checked one by one the solder connections on my mpc's mobo and resoldered the flash, the os ram and the main cpu and after that it loaded the os from zip drive with the first try (but not with floppy or cf)..!
I still need to get the recovery/rescue rom for future use though..!

Oh alright & I realized that after he told me. I meant if he needed the XL os disk. But apparently he doesn't need that at all.
