That one is pretty rooted in the reality of it though.

The bigger LCD is the major difference. Obviously 4 more pads, one more Q-link, and I think the 1000 can do more MIDI note events than the 500, but it's not like many people run out on any MPC. Add in losing battery powered operation and that's pretty much it on the differences.

You lose battery operation, and it's a bit less portable. That's all the cons I can think of.


But as for pros, you have JJOS. enough said.
