Soon to join the club. Waited for 2 months now, it was shipped in February. Finally got a notice that it has arrived to the customs, who keeps it, as it was no receipt in it... :(

Had one as my first hardware sampler back in `99. Kept my disks, tried to give them away last year, luckily the guy didn`t want them.

Always missed it somehow, so really looking forward to it!

edit: it`s a black re-issue, no grey one for me. Was`nt even on my mind.
I think the one I had previous was a re-issue too.

Where did you get it from?

What country are you in? I suppose you'll have to pay some import taxes now?

Norway, that means a 25% extra to `ze goverment :fku:

Dope pics you posted btw. I do like the original color scheme better though. As in the OG gray and re-issue. IMO it`s classic pieces that doesn`t need change*.

*anyone gone with HxC with theirs? Recommend it? Easy install? Thinking about doing it, but that`s for the future.

@Marrelarre Gratulerer. Alle gode ting er tre! ;)

So I got my OG SP1200, and its in mint condition, boom!
triggers perfectly, gets hot (but not as hot as some seem to be, no freeze or such)
Crispy blue LCD with new inverter.
Only damage i can see is that the film is peelin in the left bottom corner (But nowhere near what clints did )

Congratulations  she looks in great shape.

you open her up?

I would have thought if they replaced the lcd they they might have put in one that don't need a inverter as the backlight does not look like a foil one?

good score man

Nice score though, the SP looks fresh.

Was somebody looking for an OG grey SP1200? Not sure whats happened to this machine but apparently its been 'customized', badly, to kind of resemble a reissue.

What was he thinking?

Buy it at the right price, and get it repainted properly. Thats what I'd do. It's still a grey SP whatever colour it is on the outside. Right? Maybe too much work?
