Don't be so silly. I didn't vote as you know the Ren's Pads to trigger MIDI in your DAW is already possible in Pro Tools. Your issue is probably having a 'bug' fixed when the Ren is used with Live and not a feature request in this regard.
Another forum member doesn't like your idea.

It clearly says doesnt bother me Ive seen no other quote to say who ever voted doesnt like the idea
Either your blatantly misleading people or your confused after me and other furum members cleared up exactky what we mean by pads to midi which is PGM with samples to midi like maschine which it does NOT do and I stated to you that the bug you claim I have I dont as I can get mpc to send midi from a midi track withing the mpc no problem using live something YOU couldnt get to work either you didn't follow the instructions gave or it maybe you who has the bug
so like it was made clear to you in numerous post its PADS WITH SAMPLE pgm TO MIDI
I know you know this because we had this convo before the poll and another member clearly stated we are talking about sending PGM pads to midi
So why mislead people is the question for you?

First....you brought my name up in this thread. I had no intentions on even responding or voting until you mentioned my name. You are the one that seemed to be concerned someone didn't vote yes. Not voting yes is.......a big no.
I am not a Live user. But I thank you for showing me how to get MIDI from the Ren into it. I don't have a bug in this regard and just finished recording a video that I will post shortly.
And just because you stated something doesn't mean its clear....as I still don't fully understand what you are talking about; see the other threads where I ask you more questions. And no...I am not trying to mislead anyone. In fact, I have been sitting at my computer trying to help and submitted several forum feature requests on members behalf this weekend.
Can you post a video of what Maschine does that you want? This is not a demand and you have no obligation to do a thing. I am just curious to what you want exactly...and I will personally submit the idea to Akai if it hasn't been done here already.
This is the MPC Ren used as a generic MIDI controller with Battery 4. The Ren's pads are mapped to Battery's cells. The Qlink knobs are mapped to envelopes, effects, etc. It took a few minutes to set this up.
*Posted this video simply to show what it can do versus what it can't do. This is not to bolster an argument for or against a controller mode...as I am indifferent either way.

its obvious from what i typed and how it was typed that i was joking with you be easy a case of wires crossed we all want the ren to be an absolute beast right and make it even better an im sure nobody wants it to lack anything that maschine has so and one that aids the workslow so much
This would speed things up and make the work flow in plugin mode much more useful combined with a controller mode & being able to manipulate other parameters then automation would be a dream and you could use your daw of choice
while they perfect the standalone app
but as it stands this basic feature is badly missing from plugin mode hopefully we see it in 1.4 it doesnt seem like something radical to add

This is similar but not what you are looking for?

If this is not what you are trying to do, can you post a video showing the functionality you desire?

No Jah the actual samples PGM from the mpc being played by the pads but sequenced into your daw straight into it without export import of any midi
and that mode you show is not the best way for work flow or cpu for doing that hence controller mode
referring to the mode you show I seriously dont want to control something and have the ren with all its controls and still have to buy a controller when the ren can clearly do what we are talking about its just limited from a software point at this time
you can see why some people might opt for the controller/mpc/maschine that does all of it and this is why I say the ren shouldnt lack anything so basic like that what the maschine has and is able to do

I see what you are saying. You basically want the Ren to send MIDI to a DAW regardless of its track type. Currently, it only works if the Ren's Track is set to MIDI.
What I showed in the video is exactly what is displayed with Maschine. The only difference is that you can trigger Maschine's actual sounds while still recording MIDI into the DAW. Is this accurate?

apart from your video your wanting to control battery where as hes not he is wanting to and does control his own maschinekit/pgm but bypass the maschine sequencer and use the daw hence plugin mode and not standalone if i want to seq in the ren then standalone would be my choice but some people might want to use the ren seq so the option to switch settings is flexibility for all
