look at the report after crashing and the very last plugin on the list will be the one crashing it remove it from your plugin folder and re scan repeat this for any plugins that give you problems then you can just put them back in after your finished if you color them it can be easier if you install something new and need to quickly remove them again for a rescan

this is the only way ive got around your problem as I get it with certain plugins

also, it would help if you pay close attention to vst scanning progress when scanning as you can remember the last vst where it freezes, that most likely is the vst you need to delete from folder, possibly a corrupt or incomplete file install etc.. cracked version, in my case it was waves(cracked) screwing me up with constant freezes, i deleted that file and it worked ever since, no feezes

Also, if you have a an issue with a 'legit' plugin, enter a post in the 'Bug Report' thread giving details about the troublesome plugin along with your system specs.

Also you could make a seperate folder Just for mpc plugins and set that in your prefs that way you can scale it down to the ones you want or the ones that dont crash

:copy paste them from your original plugin folder
