I hope so...
Also does anybody know if the Plugin version will also be 64 bit?
(hope you don't mind I added that question to your thread, i've been meaning to ask both of these questions, you just reminded me)

They would certainly highlight this feature if/when this function is available in the MPC software.

64 bit will allow addressing over 4GB of RAM, but you want multicore support too. With multicore/multithread support an app can utilize all available CPU cores, physical and virtual. (Virtual cores double the amount of physical cores, allowing more multi/hyper threaded instructions to be run).
Long story short, with Maschine as the example 64 bit lets you use huge amounts of RAM but all instruments and FX are running off one core. You can pound it to it's knees pretty easily with just a few plugins.
Multicore/multithread generally results in anywhere from from 25%-200% CPU usage efficiency increases. So you always hope modern software will be both 64 bit and multicore enabled to use all your RAM and all your available CPU.

Rite now I am running 4 instances of massive, 1 FM8 2,omnisphere, Zebra and list of drum samples. With about 10 fx plugins. And my CPU hits like 18 on the meter. So ur saying I could have access to more with proper programming to 64bit? All Of this was in a plugin to Abelton.
Give me more more more.
