Sampling from an ipad

Hi guys,

I picked up an mpc1000 the other day and I'm looking to find a way, if there is one, to sample from my ipad.

I'm currently backpacking around oz so can't really take a record player around with me plus my laptop has just broke

Now I bought an USB connect for the ipad (apple camera connector) but nothing seems to be coming through on my mpc!

Please help guys as I can't wait to get chopping!

So you want sounds FROM your iPad TO MPC? You can only use the usb to transfer data between a computer and the MPC (shows as a removable drive) so it's not compatible with your iPad like that.

What you need is this:



The stereo mini jack goes to iPads "headphone out" and the 1/4" jacks to MPCs "Record in".

...jesh....very special, additional equipment....3,50 and hard to find...

but don't worry....once you got that cable just plug it in and start to sample.....
sounds pretty good....i do that all the time...in fact the converters of the mpc make the headphone out of the ipad a fresh sounding and endless sampling source you can really work with...kick it...
