Time Stretching is just the reciprocal process of pitch shifting anyway so it doesn't really matter too much.

I think I understand your request.

You mean if you have a sequence at 97 BPM, with all your samples on time and in place and everything. But now you wanna slow it down to 89 BPM and the samples will sound out of place if you do that. So this feature, basically stretches everything in the sequence simply by adjusting the BPM.

We need PER-PAD REALTIME Ircam timestretching (like Battery 4) ASAP.

Wow didn't know battery 4 had that might upgrade my komplete after all.
I don't see Akai doing this anytime soon. It's taken them 4 updates to add a zoom Function. Real time pitch/time is bloody serious dsp maybe if they license it then it will appear sooner.
We will see.

Or you can just buy Battery 4 and use it as a plugin within the Ren. I think the same thing applies to 'Keygroup timestretch.'

I am not saying its not a good idea. But when a product like the Ren hosts long established plugins that have the capabilities being sought after, chances are slim this would be a priority. Akai just completely a major revision to plugin implementation.

I know exactly how much it costs. I purchased Mach Five 3, Battery 4, Moog Voyager VST, Spark VST, UAD effects, Auto Tune...and various others plugins to use inside the Ren as it hosts VSTs.

Do you have this issue with Battery 3? Can you post a video showing the issue you are having?

First of all......

You know its the REALTIME TimeMachine Pro algo in K5(no pads) or Battery 4(no loop sync buton) needed on each 64 Ren pads and all 8 pad banks.




Second.....

stop playing stupid in front of all that Ircam/Izotope Timestretching you listed that you own OUTSIDE of the MPC Ren Software.



ever think about Ableton syncing and chopping loops and the new chops follow the tempo even when moved around? ever think Akai making the Push for that, maybe being a MPC feature? but never......

It looks more like a want.....than a need IMO. But there is nothing wrong with wants....

What I presented is just options some may or may not be aware of. Why this sparks outrage is beyond comprehension....

If anyone is having any issues using Battery with the Ren...please give specific details.
