right on. they've really set a trap here, they're cheap enough and varied enough that you could justify getting any 2.
but then you're compelled to just get a 3rd, to complete the set.
I'll probably get the beats and bass. those seem more interesting to me than the keys. The bass can effectively be used as a poly synth, since you can set each oscillator to a different sequence (probably the feature that I was most surprised by, and one that really seals the deal)
I'm still really banking on being able to mod these. For example, all three obviously still have some sort of internal mixer circuit (for the various drums, or multiple oscillators) so I imagine that one could add an audio input to any with just an audio jack and a resistor.
They've made a huge mistake if they haven't made these hack-able. I almost prefer having the option to mod, than to have a bajillion features already built in, which would bump up the cost.
