"How to Synch MPC Ren to Reason?": SUCCESSFULLY

I have tried every internet suggestion for this but who has successfully synched the MPC Renaissance with Reason. I have done it with my MPC 1000 but not the Ren. What is the best solution?

I suggest wait until 1.4. You will be able to midi your Ren as slave to your Daw.

well you can control the reason synths with the mpc via midi busses in reason...

the mpc can t be a midi clock slave @ the moment...i sure it s gonna be @1.4 update...

search for my tread and check out what is possible @ moment with reason 7

If Reason can slave to MTC, then you are in business. On a Mac, you can use the IAC drivers to accomplish this. You can also accomplish connecting another MIDI interface to your computer then connecting the Ren's physical MIDI I/O to this MIDI interface.

i have exactly this issue and i'am on mpc software 1.4..
I want my ren to be master and reason 5 to be slave, I use IAC driver but it doesn't work..
If anyone could help me on that it would be really really great..

thanks a lot for your reply, your video was very useful to me. I've searched a lot for that kind of video but i've missed it..
I followed exactly what you did on your video but I still have an issue....
Everything works fine untill I play in mpc software my reason piano sequence..
The notes are not played "one after the other", all the notes are looping (it seems like a bug...) and notes are still looping even when i stop playing in mpc software..
To stop the loop i have to change the type of the track from "midi" to "drum" or "plugin"...
Do you have any idea?
I think I'am very close from success now..

Did you uncheck the input monitor button in your reason sequencer?
I don't know really what is happening to you....

Do you speak about the sampling input monitor at the top of the window?
i can't see any other "input monitor" button...
