select pad/note on keygroup

so i have this curios and can't find a solution, not sure even if is possible
in program editing (KG MIX) if is a DRUM program every pad i press MPC immediately select the sample, but if i'm in a KEYGROUP program this is not possible i have to look manually for the sample

any workaround or am i missing something?

Yeah a keygroup spreads one sample over a note range so of course you have to manually look for the sample. Drum programs have one note, one sample per key range. Drum programs are different.
