But I will try to pull my finger out and stitch the other pages together, and into a PDF, soon.

I bought a Plustek OpticBook 3600 book scanner recently for about £25 (used) so I could scan a 250+ page book, and easily turned it into a PDF. The software flips the odd/even pages for you and the scanner glass goes right to the edge, unlike regular scannerbeds. This means that the whole page is scanned properly without distortion of the text toward the spine. Took a couple of hours but hey...

I was planning to sell it after using it once, but now I see how useful it will be with borrowed books and other print material.

I like the way you can scan right up close to the spine.

Still only A4, and would still need 4 scans, stitched together, for the larger schematic pages.
