Hi,
When i sample from a record, i can trim the sample the way i want it (beginning/ending), but when i get to the chops, which i do by threshold, i can't change them with the q-links. When i turn them, there's no change on the screen. Normally you see the beginning or ending shift left or right, but it doesn't do that anymore.
I must've changed something in the settings, but i can't find what. I sampled before and then it wasn't a problem.

Please help me out...

Greets,

Yes, i can change it in the software. And if i use the qlinks, i can see the chops change on the MPC-screen, but not on the computer screen.
The easiest way for me is to chop with the qlinks while looking at the computer screen. Normally it changes while chopping, but it doesn't do that anymore.

Have you upgraded the MPC software to 1.3.1?

I don't think this is a known issue, so I suspect something is up with the install.

IMO you should try uninstalling and then reinstalling, it's fixed random oddness for me before.

Mac or PC?

I had the same issue and 1.3.1 seemed to fix it.

Go here:

Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > Akai > MPC

Run the uninstallMPC app and 'AKAI mpc driver remover'. Reboot, reinstall the driver, reboot, install the MPC Software again, you can do this direct from the 1.3.1 updater (ignore any 'update error' warning pop ups).

This procedure leaves your registation/activation settings, preferences and expansions intact.

See if this fixes things. BTW, please confirm Mac OS version.
