MPC Software + M-Audio NRV-10 ? Is it a good choice ?

Since We can route the outputs from the soft to an external soundcard, I'd love to get a Hybrid Mixer-soundcard like these one :

Do you think It's wise or would somebody suggest me something better in this price range (300-600€ / 400/800$)

The NRV-10 always attracts me but It seems to has been discontinued quickly, 2nd hand NRV-10 are around 400$ in Europe.
