Would you like to see SE/LE MPC Ren in different colors?

No, just a fully working one.

This Grey is nice..Only Q-Links, Rec Gain, Monitoring and Volume knobs should have been light grey with black tops..

....i never gonna buy one anyway....and if it's only for the return of this ugly hospital design.....looks more like a machine with the png to check your blood pressure....

when i got my first brandnew mpc in the 90ies, first thing i did was painting it black...

I like my Studio the way it is, IMHO it looks perfect. I agree the Ren looks like a hospital instrument now. Black and/or white FTW.

i don't see any reason on why releasing a mpc ren limited edition.

all previous mpcs that were released as limited edition contained extras that due to hardware standalone nature of the previous models it would cost extra money to have them, still you got them for free plus you got a new colour.

i have seen ren only on the net so can't be really sure if i like the colour or not but i like the way the studio looks for sure.

i would prefer a new ren with bigger screen and more options on the hardware with less button combinations as possible for menus.so many features has been add since the release and will be added more, not sure if this hardware is the ideal for all that functions.

besides i think that ren is very expensive so it would be a good idea to drop a new ren on the market for the money that ren costs now and lower the price of the "old" ren.

now if you wanna name it mpc ren 2 or mpc ren limited edition it's not a big deal, but drop to the market the same ren with just a different colour is not a good move in my opinion..

What extras? There MPC 3000 and the MPC 3000 LE are identical except for the color and gold name plate.

The same is true for all the SE versions of the MPC 2000XL.

don't know about the mpc 3000.

The 2000XL SE didn't come with extras. Some retailers may have sold them in different configurations though....

Excited? I am willing to spend upwards of $1000 to have my Ren painted by Forat so...a black SE Ren would certainly be appealing to me....

Her name is Coco aka Gucci Momma...my puppy French Bulldog. But my ol lady might get pissed if you tried to paint her.

Shouldn't be calling anything an "LE" (in Akai parlance) until its been out of production for a while and customers have been crying for another batch to satisfy demand. "SE" seems a more appropriate label considering what went before with the 2KXL-SE's.

As for different colours for the Ren, brushed aluminium like the studio or satin black aluminium with white backlit pads would be interesting. The stock colour scheme is shit, lets be honest about it. Thank Ren for MPC Stuff producing those skins...
