^I'm guessing it would work great. I use the app a lot and you set it on the plugin itself to receive the App's messages over wifi/Bonjour. So for patch changes it's the same as if you changed it manually with the mouse as far as the host reflecting the patch change.

Yea the Ipad app for omnispher works great in the Ren.

I am talking about the Effects within VST instruments.

1. Insert Omni sphere or your favorite plugin instrument on Track 1 of the Ren
2. Open up the GUI of your plugin
3. Load up your favorite patch; add effects to it (within the VST instrument)
4. Open up your plugins automation menu (if applicable)
5. Enabled (host) automation of various effect params

Once accomplished, these params will show up as options within the Ren/Studio that you can assign directly to Qlinks.

It works pretty good actuallly. I like it alot better than NI's products and a lot better the other VST's. Trillian also works pretty good. The are the only 2 softwares i own now to go with the MPC REN. You can do a lot within the plugin and its so user freindly and easy to understand. Im glad got rid of everything and went with these 2 VST's. I have been working with the arpeggiator and it's fun to work with because you can use it on any sound. lol. Let me stop because i can keep going on and on... Go get the product with Trillian and I know for a fact you won't be mad after you use it.

YES.

Both really are that good, and essentially give you every bass tone on earth and most every major form of synthesis is represented in Omnisphere. Omnisphere is likely the most expensive plugin I ever bought, haven't regretted it for half a second.

or even with the Ren hardware ?
