WEIRD! There was a thread about this before but got deleted.Im working on a brand new ADK system (specs are in my sig) i connected the ren to 1 of my 3 USB 3 ports, starts up fine but theres a 1 second delay when im in sample edit mode and its impossible to work like this so i went back to my USB 2.0 port.Could be the way ADK configured the comp but i guess ill live with it.

What other devices are connected to your USB hubs?

The most likely issue is that you've got more devices on the USB ports than what they can handle power wise. You may want to try pulling all the devices, then add them back one by one (starting with the Ren of course. Be sure to monitor the Ren's performance for any changes after each device it's added.

If you find that one of the 3 devices you mentioned introduces the latency once it's been reconnected, you'll likely need to assist the system by adding a compatible powered USB hub to that port to help carry the l load that device requires.

Whether it be the laptop ports or the Ren's port(s), it sounds like you may be putting more on the USB hub than what it can handle without a powered hub..

No issues here on Mac and window 7.
