A sample that makes my Ren crash (attached)

I'm onto something here.
I've located a sample that alone makes my Ren crash very easily.
It's a sample I sampled from my Akai s900 onto my TwistedWave as a 16-bit .wav, saved on my HD, then dragged it into the Ren and played it.
It makes the Ren crash.

I only have to start a new project, with nothing else on it – I just load this sample on pad a01, start hitting it, and it crashes after a while.

Now that I think of it, very similar stuff has happened before when I've sampled stuff thru s900 the same way; I've noticed that as soon as assigned those freshly-recorded samples on pads and played them merrily, I've experienced crashes.

I'm on Mac OS X 10.6.8 with 16 gigs of ram and an SSD drive.
I hope the devs can make something out of this and at least now the problem is very stripped-down...no plugins, not even midi notes...nothing.

I know you converted the files, but isn't the S900 a 12 bit machine? Perhaps it could be that some data is missing from the conversion from going 12 bit to 16 bit.

I recorded it as audio of course.

I don't know TwistedWave but it might have some setting to save additional info into the wave (Adobe Audition for example does have a checkbox to save cue and/or Looppoints). This could be a problem for other software to read.

Yeah, who knows. I know there is no way to select to save any metadata or not.
You can, for example, add markers on the file if you wish, but the file in question doesn't have any user-added metadata, and it's saved as plain as it gets.
