Mutronics - Mutator Filter

Anyone Familiar with the Mutronics Mutator Filter??? Anyone one ever use it??[/list]

jerry garcia used one alot for dead shows. He used to make a wah wah out of it and other cool effects.

apparantly they are all over daft punks homewerk but ive also been told that was an ms20...either way sound damn good!

I would call it the Rolls Royce of rackmount filter processors.
It has a sound that can only be described as "classy".

Very smooth/silky filter that that imparts a lot of warmth onto the signal, not necessarily a wild filter for extreme manipulation like the Sherman, or even the MfC42 (which can yelp btw), but just has that great Mutator sound that once heard becomes instantly recognizabe.

Used it once and it is the SHlT! It's easy to use, just tweak those knobs until you get the sound you want.

i got a cheap lil filter that sounds decent and u can tweak its 24bit and u can get samples nice and fat. Its the alesis philtre. on ebay ive seen em for like $20. i got mines for $99 a year ago. There cool if u on a budget. that mutron is money and all the other higher end filters cost over $300 at least.

that is the oldest scam in the book. they will send u a fake cashiers check that when u try to cash it the bank will know. definatliy dont ship it to that person or ship them a box of rocks and say u want the cash up front. This is also called the nigerian scam. there is many people on the internet who have been takin by this.

gutted for ya! if i had £400 id have it in a flash.....
