Hi guys, I'm having real difficulty recording a sequence at the mo, whenever I try to say record drums over the top of a sample it blanks out the sample or vice versa!?
Anyone else had this?

I don't quite understand what you mean. Are you using different tracks for the sample and the drums? Can you describe exactly what you are doing in more detail maybe then you'll get some help...

I think I know what your problem is. You need to create different Programs ( Mode + Program -> WINDOW -> New -> Create New Program). So you record your first Track with program 1 (contains for example the sample) and then you record track 2 with the program 2 (contains drums).

REC button overwrites current existing track while recording new.
OVERDUB button adds to current track without overwriting.
START button will playback wherever you last stopped the sequence.
PLAY START will playback a sequence from the very beginning.
Maybe you are using REC when you should be using OVERDUB.
Stop getting automatically offended when you see gold letters!

as mentioned... use separate tracks for each new sound you want to layer...
and learn the difference between MONO and POLY.
