Hi There
Been reading through the manual and can't seem to find anything on bar deleting.
My problem is that i have built up this choon in 8 bars and now i want to turn it into a track by copying those bars and then deleting only certain sections of bars bit by bit in order to assemble it.
I have tried making a blank 8 bars and inserting this into the bits of tracks i don't want and also deleting bits via over dub but that is gonna take me ages. Also i am borrowing from the original sequence cutting and pasting but the MPC 2000 is not liking this at all and keeps crashing at the most inconvinient Iv'e got a gig next week help!

So, you've got a full 8 bar sequence & you want copies of it with less going on? ......Yes?

Are you wanting these to be 8 bars long, in which case you just erase complete tracks in the sequence by putting the cursor on the track number in MAIN SCREEN then pressing OPEN WINDOW. If you just need to delete parts of a track, go through it in STEP EDIT. This is easier if you haven't merged too much information in your tracks.

Or are you wanting to chop up your 8 bars into single bars???
