Can you set up markers as the sample is playing to set up your chop points?

For example in the trim screen, I trigger the sample, and then as it's playing hit a pad every time I want to set a chop point? And then fine tune as necessary?

Im on a 2500 jjosxl.

Yeah I think I read he added the MIDI controller support. I was just thinking for previewing, but if he added placing markers with pads when looping that would be cool.

But like has been mentioned that would be sick to do in the OS as opposed to just making offline chopping more hands on.

that would be great. maybe in trim pgm mode you hold shift or some button and hit the pad for start point then again for end point? hit another pad and it will set those start and end points. maybe best in ndc mode since it is sort of set up that way.

Where do I need to sign up for this? This would be absolutely amazing. And yes, in NDC mode please.

The 4K does something similar with its Grab feature, but that's only for setting the start and end point. Still good to have.

I use it every single time I turn the 4K on. This is a little different and I'm all for it.
