Silencing a Sample

Here's what worked for me:


MODE - PAD 7 - SETUP - Instatnt Track Mute "ON"
Press track mute when you want said sample/loop to silence

If you want to record the mute:

Mode - Pad 7 - SETUP - Record mix changes: "ON"
Record Track Mute: "ON"
Play Track Mute: "ON"
Instant Track Mute: "ON"

Press track mute when you want said sample/loop to silence

Either way, works just like a DJ sliding the crossfader to silence a part of a song playing. Less button pushes, and it bypasses using the qlinks or sliders.
