Sp12 then?

??? :? :? , nah SP2500 turbo...

No new news, but Primo uses a MPC60 + S950.
I love the sound of my SP, but rarely use it. I'm too used to the MPC's capabilities that I can't move backward.
....but no, I don't wanna sell my SP.

I've had one before, they are nice. But they are unstable as ****. I hated finding artifacts in my saved samples... sometimes your samples will have clicks and pops. One time I tried sampling an SH09 and it screwed something up; I couldn't sample without hearing a faint distortion in the background. The SP1200 is stable as ****, it is a work of art.

SP is beautiful!

With just 10sec, it asks the great question............

If you can deliver - you are true samplist!!!

The benchmark!

that thing has no sample time at all the sequin. i think like 520kb or something like that. If u know how to sample and tweak u can make gritty samples with fruity loops. not sayin that this vintage gear isnt tight. but give me a brand new rack sampler any day.

the lowest price one went for was 3 bills, to me, from a pawn shop in pa :D but im in the same boat as itchyvinyl. u can make shit sound raw with your table hooked up to the computer and sampling into soundforge just the same. its almost like a novelty owning one once u start messing with the computer. the studio440 is even more of a novelty, you have it just to say u own one.

Yo I 1st got 1200 in 87 had her for 14 years and lost it!!
This machine was fast and to the point it did what you wanted to do!
When I had a MPC 60 the Roger Linn joint that had many bugs you had to save your seq 1st then sample or vice vera can't remember but we were doing the Geto Boys "Grip It On Another Level"
I triggered that using the 1200 cause it did do what I wanted to do!

Now that I have 2000 xl I like this machine don't know it as good as my baby but I like the way it brighted up my 1200 disks I have like 500 for the 1200 and still wish I had one to go sise by side with the 2000 xl.

Any way I hated my MPC 60 so much I gave it to Doug King or John Bido lol
Peace

Do any of you cat have any tips on making the 2000 xl act like a SP 1200 holla at me
