Hi,

I work with a 2500 running JJosXL.

I have a Program with multiple samples and layers already assigned to different pads. However, i would like to rename all my samples within the Program without loosing their pad/layer positions.

I use a PC with Windows 7.

Is there a software that lets me do this or do i have to do it manually inside the MPC ? I don't think Blue Box or MPC Maid let me do this.

For the moment, i am renaming samples one by one on the MPC in "Trim" but the Program has over 200 files.

Hi Nym,

Ok sorry i wasn't clear... I have a folder containing 12 programs and around 200 WAV files. I want to rename each and every WAV files. I can't use a batch renamer because if i do, the programs won't recognise the needed WAV files anymore.

I want to be able to load the folder, giving me access to all the Programs and their respective WAV files, keeping the samples and layers on their respective pads.

Then the only feasible way is to rename them 1by1. Use the c&p option when you're naming.

Don't still understand why you'd want to do that tho...

Best practice: load one program with samples and PACK that and rename the pack. Do that until you have only packed programs in your folder.
