there's no more comments because you missed the entire point, jjbing. that tweet said nothing about jacking breaks from hip-hop albums... it simply mentioned using the same drums. i swear some of you haven't even read the thread...

All I know some are kinda warped. We are saying that producers used to share their pack of gum with other producers, but they are saying that producers shared the gum chewed and flavorless to other producers.

In the context of this thread seemingly another piece of of non-evidence that it's open shark season for duck ass pigeon cats .

Really? I read all the posts bro. If you read the comments and responses to his tweet, he's talking about any open drums.

The entire thing is too vague, but the opening line to me implies 'other records' as meaning other hip hop records because why would anybody need to state "It's OK to sample drums from old records" when it's been that way for 3 decades?
Then the next part just sounds like a tip to cover the sharky chum trail...If it is cosigning open season jacking then it's in effect saying, "Take [Producer A] Snare but be sure to also shark [Producer B] and [Producer C] for your kick and hat, so be sure to commit 3 fouls..."
"@BINKDOG you mean modern records? Not classic breaks?"
"@circuitbrent either....I mean of coarse classic breaks are free game. But if u wanna make shit interesting"
So we're back to the original post. What's interesting here? Nothing. OP finds it interesting or thinks we should that somebody nobody knows from Adam named Binkdog says total shark mode is all good?
Or in the second one I just quoted, Is this Humble Monsta cat saying one's production would be more interesting by taking finished hip hop drums? Or is the interesting aspect just centered on if you can get away with it or not?
Between Golden Age's posts that never once gave an actual example of what he was defending (the dead opposite actually) and that one I really fail to see how anyone is trying to state the case that not doing this wack shit is how 99% of people roll and have for 30 years is not the norm.
