Sorry is this has been addressed already but I couldn't find it.

When I ever I chop a break and put it on the pads it wont play in poly mode. It just mutes the sound Im playing on top of like its in mono. I change each pad one by one, still no go. Cant tell if its a bug or user error.

If I drag and drop I the sounds dont have this issue.

When you Chop and convert slices to a program, all the slices are assigned to the same mute group.

Set Zone Edit to 'All' then make necessary change in mute group...then Program Poly Mode and it will solve your issue.

I just tried this out. still not working. :hmmm:

It'll record the punches but you still cant hear it play over each other.

You must be doing something wrong or missing out something...

Are you sure all relevant samples have no mute group assigned (=OFF)? Sometimes people tend to miss out selecting ALL under ZONE EDIT (only possible in the software, not on the hardware), some set pad polyphony to POLY instead of programme polyphony.

Make sure these parameters are set to your needs.

You are most likely doing something wrong. There are several parameters that will impact your Slice Program from playing as desired:

1. Pad Play Mode's Mute Group. This is set to '1' by default for Sliced Programs. Set this to 'OFF' for all pads

2. Pad Play Mode's Pad Play. Set it to 'Poly' so you can tap the same pad multiple times without samples being cut-off.

3. Master Mode Mono/Poly - Set this to 'Poly' so multiple sounds can be triggered at the same time without being cut-off.

4. Mute Trarget - Set this to 'Off'
