Rei's always been my favorite character in the series but Asuka is entertaining as hell. Still wrapping my head around her latest "remixed" incarnation in the 3.33 film.

And yeah Lamp since the HD films there's 1920 and 2560 wallpapers all over.

I'd say SoundPrism Pro is a no brainer at that price.

NodeBeat is a fun app as well. TouchOSC is the only other one I have on the list. Although Arpeggionome Pro has tempted me in the past.

It's free and when you tell it what apps/categories you like it will inform you of sales and short term free grabs you see over 24-48 hour periods at times.

SugarBytes Turnado (awesome FX app) got an update this week solely to add landscape mode. As an Alesis dock owner portrait aspect only apps are the enemy.

Nah, Filatron is 2 years old, but that's exactly the upside of the AppShopper notifications to catch those giveaways.

I paid like $3-6 for it can't remember, but felt it was worth it. So I'd be giddy if it's free, no pay.

That's another portrait view only app. Drives me nuts to use it sideways at a 25 degree angle in the Alesis. I'm starting to think extension cable and put the iPad back in this (It spins to change view style, your iPad looks like a munchkin iMac in it)-

With Lemur having the history as a standalone unit and the vast user library what they've done is take the Live Control 1 template they had and combined this other one Mu, with some other clever ones and merged it all into this new release.

I still hope to get better at making my own Lemur templates, the editor is incredibly deep, although not difficult per se, just takes a while to utilize all that's available.

One of lemur's biggest selling points is the programmable physics/friction that is user definable on X/Y stuff, slider throw speed, just about anything really. The "feel" of it implemented well is superior to any other control app out there and is one of the major things you receive for paying such a high premium as far as average app prices go.

In the video you see the physics at play on the Lemur screen and then Live's X/Y stuff, really cool stuff. These premium templates are all free after buying the app and make it maybe worth it even if you never make a template of your own for anything.

I know for certain that with it's SysEx support a pretty serious MPC 4000 external control template could be made. Making one for JJ's MIDI to button features would be much easier. Both are something I want to explore, but it's clear that it would be pretty time consuming, probably worth it though given how useful and fun those templates would be.

I haven't even thought about SySex since like '05 so we'll see. But certainly the 4k forum has users that are well versed. Maybe I'll get a pen and pad and start trying to figure it the basics of some solid templates.

I'm probably going to get MIDI Designer soon. It looks like the editing is really quick and I like how it's GUI's are a more traditional alternative to colored vector styles Touch OSC and Lemur use.
