just curious

Yeah I got a 27" monitor, I'm usually doing both with the screen split. I used to work food service I can juggle a few things at once.

split screen you mean two screens or there is a way to separate one screen in two views. sorry if the question is naive i found interested the idea though.

On Windows you just "throw" one open window at the right side of the screen and it automatically re-sizes at 50%, same for the left side. I think it's the most convenient thing ever. I ended up buying a $8 Mac Store App so I could have the same thing on OS. It's a small thing but the time saved not having to manually adjust the window size really adds up.

I do have other monitors but one 27" is plenty especially with the instant 2 window screen split.

The thing that f**ed it up was Dan's date drop in the video, dude needs to learn from his mistakes.

It's still been 2 months since he said "4 or 5 weeks".

Actually, y'all should learn from your mistakes. Salivating over what should have been in 1.0. Hanging on Dan's every word and Pete's every tweet . Hopefully some of you kept hold of your hardware MPC's to remind you of that classic MPC workflow while you wait for some improvements. Wooden side panels, fat pads, skins...comfort purchasing.

One point four thousand dollars? Shit better at least look good, right?

It's not like it's uncommon that updates don't have a specific date in the DAW world. I suppose it's less common for a rep to "paint themselves in a corner" to whatever degree has been perceived with these Akai updates.

Maschine updates are not as frequent, although tend to be major when they do drop so it makes sense, but I remember every time waiting weeks even months at times. In every case either public or private betas or both were conducted, and even after the beta period was concluded sometimes there was still a fair wait.

The wait is maddening for sure, but glass half full outlook, at least you hope that a firm is using the extra time to be that much more stable when the rev is certified for release.

You have to wonder with Nukai if the next update is the last though.
