I have an Apogee Duet which has 2 I/O. I know how to set up midi between logic and the mpc, that's no problem. Ive experienced some latency issues while recording track by track from the MP to logic thru the apogee. Now I've read about dumping sequences from the MP through USB to the computer and opening them in a DAW. I've read about saving a sequence to a midi file inside the MP. I couldnt find anything about it in the manual. Am i overlooking something?
And when dumping the sequence(s) from the MP to Logic, what about the audio. I understand the midi sequence file will only display midi notes without audio?
If you have JJOSXL... Just create audio tracks for your midi tracks by recording the main outs, and export the wavs into Logic. Simple as that.
