I would hope just some streamlining as he re-compiles his code rather than a feature getting dropped. He's been on the edge of the available memory for a while now so I would think he's trying to minimize the code footprint. (I hope :? )

its not, whats the point? Its not like the older ones like the 3000, 60 or the 2000xl. You install it from hard disk, inside the mpc and it gets written to rom or something like that
